Accessible Educational Services (AES) is the disability services office for IUPUI, IUPUC, and IUFW students. This office determines if a student qualifies for accommodations, approves reasonable accommodations, and serves the campus community to ensure the implementation of those accommodations whenever possible. AES strives to ensure that students have equal opportunities to pursue a university education, while also maintaining a high level of academic integrity.
Students can register online with AES by submitting an Accommodation Request. You will receive a response from AES inviting you to schedule an intake appointment.
This appointment will likely take no more than 30 minutes. It will take place in-person, via phone, or via Zoom. You will have an opportunity to discuss how your disability affects your academic experience. You and AES staff will also talk about which accommodation(s) would be most appropriate for you.
