Kim Kile joined the IUPUI Athletics staff in July 2022 as an Athletics Academic Advisor. Kim works with men's basketball, women's basketball, men's swimming & diving, women's swimming & diving, and women's cross country/track & field teams.
Kile brings 33 years of collegiate and high school counseling and advising to the position, having most recently served more than 20 years at nearby Greenfield Central Schools. Most recently, she worked at Greenfield-Central High School for more than a decade and oversaw a staff of three counselors and two staffers while helping coordinate the master schedule for 90 staffers and 1,450 students on an annual basis.
She increased Greenfield Central's participation in the 21st Century Scholars Program and created a model program for implementation for Graduation Pathways for the state of Indiana.
She previously served as Butler's Director of Admission, beginning as a student worker before ultimately being promoted to director. She helped increase the number of applications, managed a staff of five admission reps and oversaw a budget for admission activities.
Kile enjoys traveling as she and her husband have seen a baseball game in every Major League Baseball city.
She earned her B.A. and M.S. from Butler and is currently pursuing her PhD from IUPUI in American Studies.
